I heard about this book via a recommendation and review by a blogger I follow and since I have always been a casual fan of British royalty, I decided it would be a good idea to check this book out. I thought it was quite enjoyable! I enjoyed learning about Kate and getting to know her background and upbringing. It was also pretty cool to get some details and insight about William, royal protocol and bits and pieces of other family members too. There were a few inspirational things about it all, and I found it refreshing to read a story about an earnest rise to a prominent lifestyle instead of perhaps a recounting of a more negative or abused past.

If you're a fan of the royal family or even of royalty in general, I think you'll enjoy this friendly and sympathetic telling of Kate's life story.
